Aloha Cafe in Little Tokyo, Downtown Los Angeles, CA

410 E. 2nd St Los Angeles, CA 90012 (Cross Street: 2nd and Central)
Inside Honda Plaza in Little Tokyo (across the street from Office Depot)

Aloha Cafe is one of those places that completely takes you by surprise.  It’s in a random strip mall that’s hidden by the restaurant in front of it and in a neighborhood where you can easily drive past the Hawaiian restaurant.  But once you’ve tasted this food from the gods, you’re going to NEVER forget it. HAHA  over dramatic much?

Komai’s Big Breakfast

The Big One: includes 1 Corn Beef Hash, 2 Spam, 2 Portuguese Sausage, 2 Vienna Sausage, 2 Eggs, 2 Scoops Rice and Hawaiian Bread.

Kal-B Chicken (Korean Bar-B-Que)

If you love the beef version you’ll also fall in love with the chicken (Beef description: Three short ribs thinly sliced, marinated in our special sauce and full of flavor – An all time favorite.)

Effing CicLAvia that closed down all the streets in downtown LA and towed my poor car =(

(I ate at Aloha Cafe BECAUSE my car got towed and I couldn’t leave the area…*shaking fist*)
