Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream in San Francisco (Mission District)

I’ve always been a huge fan of Bi-Rite ice cream in SF, but Humphry Slocombe was quite the ice cream competitor this weekend.  Although it’s a small shop in the mission district, Humphry Slocombe had unique flavors that were homemade and the service was phenomenal.

The man behind the counter encouraged us to try all their flavors (all tastings free).  That sort of service really makes the entire ice cream experience more positive.

There was a wine & coke flavor, Pepper & mint flavor, Beet Flavor, and well…the list continues!  I chose their two most popular flavors: Secret Breakfast & Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee.  They were DELIIIICIOUS.  Incredibly creamy and flavorful without being too sweet.

I loved this little gem in the Mission District and would definitely love to go back!

Cool artwork on the wall with their signature flavors as the soup flavors.
