Mama’s Fish House

Mama’s Fish House was one of the best places that Markel and I ate at while in Maui.  Not only was the service exceptional, but so were the views, food, presentation…the entire EXPERIENCE was mind blowing.

Here’s the view when we arrived.  HEAVENLY.

Traditional Hawaiian

Grilled Mahimahi, slow-cooked Big Island Wild Boar, Octopus Luau and Ahi Poke with baked Hana banana, Molokai sweet potato, lomi-lomi, fresh poi and Haiku Lilikoi.

It was a delicious presentation of hawaiian food is supposed to be like.  I think next time we’ll skip this plate.  but it was the only time we ate it this time in hawaii.  It wasn’t as awesome as helena’s in oahu~ but still very tasty.

Mahimahi stuffed with lobster and crab, baked in a macadamia nut crust – Caught by Matt Higa in the Alenuihaha Channel

–DELICIOUS.  The fish got a little heavy at the end b/c it was stuffed with lobster and crab… but damn… still out of this world.

Mama’s Home-made Ice Cream–banana cookies n cream
