Homecookin: Ghanaian Meal

Right now, Markel’s bff from High School is staying with us while he completes his pharmacy rotation.  He’s been the perfect house guest and on top of that, he makes the most AMAZING dinners.  He’s originally from Ghana so the meals that he’s made the last few weeks have been Ghanaian.

Traditional Ghanaian Rice.  SO FREAKING BOMB.  He cooks a stew first of tomatoes, onions, garlic, salt, pepper, jalapeno and meat (in this case, corned beef).  Then he adds uncooked rice to create this perfect dish.  To pair the rice, he made green beans and carne asada meat with Ghanaian spices.
