Thirsty Thursdays: Micheladas


 i recently had a huge craving for micheladas.  how random right?  not bloody mary’s but refreshing micheladas!  i’ve only had them at trendy brunch spots and decided i needed to re-create them for a pool day with the girlfriends. =)  i found a cool recipe off of and bought these ingredients below. =)  Compared to the recipe, I added a lot more hot sauce b/c i wanted it to have a kick.

here’s the short recipe below.  enjoy! xo



  • Salt, for rimming the glasses
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (from about 2 medium limes), rinds reserved
  • Ice
  • 1 1/2 cups light Mexican beer, such as Corona
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce, such as Tabasco
  • 1 teaspoon Maggi or soy sauce
  • Freshly ground black pepper, for garnish
