Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays of the year.  I feel like it kicks off 6 weeks of fun, family and FOOOOOOD.  Here are some heavenly recipes that I’ve been drooling over from!

Roasted Kobucha Squash with Brown Butter, Marshmallows, and Pecans

Brown Butter Mashed Potatoes

Stuffing with Sausage, Apples & Sage

Spiced Holiday Sangria

Growing my own Green Onion!

I’m sooo excited about this new project!  I’ve been seeing pictures on pinterest about growing your own green onions and so I tried it =)  Green onion is an ingredient that is in almost every Korean dish~ and lately~ that’s all I’ve been cooking.

So instead of buying it, I’m trying to grow my own =)  So far so good!  All it needs is water & sunlight.  I change the water everyday or every other day.

Kale Salad with Cranberries and Candied Pecans

During my Pinterest Challenge, I learned to make a lemon vinaigrette and well, it’s now my staple for kale salads.  This time I added dried Cranberries and Candied Pecans to the salad to see how that pairing would go~~ and it was DELICIOUS.  I wish I had blue cheese or Gorgonzola to add to it, but this will have to do for now.

Pinterest Challenge #31

This was the best way to end the month pinterest challenge!

This grilled cheese sandwich was out of this world delicious.  It was essentially a pesto panini, but eating it with toasty wheatbread made it delicious, easy and very doable at home.  I can’t wait to make these again.  Markel and I devoured these sandwiches and talked about how much we loved them the whole time.  ❤

Pinterest Challenge #29

Ever since I saw this on pinterest, I have ALWAYS wanted to make it.  I bought all the ingredients, put it together…and then realized…it was really time consuming and messy.  My entire kitchen floor had panko crumbs.  >.<  Once cooked, I was SOOO excited to try it, only to find…they were just aiite.  Markel laughed the entire time and asked what I was expecting…that these would never be as good as mozzarella sticks.  =(  Oh well…I’m glad I tried it, but these babies won’t be going into my permanent cook book or menu cycles…

My Version:

Putting them in the oven like this was super messy >.<

We used a Pizza Marinara sauce, it was a good pairing.

The most brown and skinnyt he zucchini pieces, the better they tasted.  Some of mine were thick so they didn’t cook as well.

These look cute and nice…but they were hella hard to make.  I don’t think I’ll ever use this recipe again.
